The beautiful landscape of Cusco is made up of grasslands, hills, and areas concentrated with brush and trees. The mountains and high plateaus of the central Andes surround the region of Cusco and provide a great economic center, land suitable for agriculture and trade, for the people living there. While there is variety among the plants in the Peruvian countryside, it is rare to see a cactus and snow capped mountains in the same landscape.
